SKIFT på nye Voldsløkka skole i Oslo, hvor elever ved skolen har skapt sirkulær kunst Kunstverkene, og utviklingen av disse, har til hensikt å formidle verdien av gjenbruk med mål om å bidra til en bærekraftig fremtid. Kunstverket består av oppgraderte byggematerialer fra en gammel bygning ved siden av skolen, som nylig ble revet.
25 elever som skal begynne på den nye skolen, ble invitert til en workshop for kunstnerisk utforsking med brukte materialer. Målet var å la ungdommene oppleve mulighetene i gjenbruk samtidig som de hadde det gøy og jobbet kunstnerisk.
Elevenes arbeider ble samlet til ett endelig permanent kunstverk som siden ble til en kunstutstillingen i mai 2023. Verket monteres og avdukes i forbindelse med skolens åpning 21.august 2023. ble elev-kunstverket vist til og til slutt montert permanent på skolen. Workshopen og kunstverket er ledet og kurateres av Ueland og Bothner.
Prosjektet er en del av det forskningsbaserte EU-prosjektet "ARV" som jobber mot sirkulære nabolag. Sirkulær kunst, og prosessen med å skape den, blir brukt som et verktøy for å bidra til lokal endring på Voldsløkka. Med støtte fra Oslobygg, SINTEF og NTNU.

SKIFT is a two-part art project at the new Voldsløkka School, concisting of a student art workshop and a permanent art work. The artworks, and their development, will convey the value of reuse with the aim of contributing to a sustainable future. The art concists of upcycled building materials from an old building next to the school, that was recently demolished.
25 pupils who will attend the new school, were recently invited to a workshop for artistic exploration with the used materials. The aim was for the youth to experience the possibilities of reuse while having fun and working artistically. The results will be curated for an exhibition in May 2023 and finally mounted permanent ly at the school. The workshop and art exhibition is lead and curated by Ueland and Bothner.
The project is part of the research based EU-project “ARV” that works towards circular neighbourhoods. Circular art, and the process of creating it, is used as a tool to contribute to change locally at Voldsløkka. With support from Oslobygg, SINTEF and NTNU:
